Give an invoice its job
About 60 seconds.
An invoice on its own is a document. An invoice attached to a job is a business record.
Production Ledger connects things by the job name. Once your invoice carries one, the crew, the kit, the expenses and the payments all roll up to the same production — which is what turns a pile of paperwork into a picture of the job.
Step 1
Put the job name on the invoice
Open the invoice and fill in Project title / Job description with what you actually call the production. Save it. That is the connection made.
Step 2
Reuse the name for everything else on that job
Crew, call sheet, kit, expenses — the same name ties them together. Type it the same way each time and everything lands on the same production.

One job, one answer
Billed, collected, still owed, what you paid crew, what the gear and expenses cost — per production, not per document.
